There is a long standing Letter of Agreement between Edinburgh NATS and Scottish Mountain Paragliding Club that defines the limits of areas that can be flown and the procedures for requesting permission. |

Brief Site Description: |
Just south of Edinburgh in the Pentland Hills. Can be flown in a variety of wind conditions and has a chair lift to within a few minutes of launch. |
How to get there: |
400m south of the City of Edinburgh by pass on the A702 Edinburgh to Biggar road. Follow minor road to the Midlothian Ski Centre. |

Launch Notes: |
Either walk up the hill directly behind the ski tows or get the chair lift. Most popular launch for the north face is right by the summit cairn. |
