Seems like a different world but only last Thursday Al B and I had a short but fun flight from Moorfoots. Nice soft climbs up the limit at 3500 and the usual waft around trying to stay with the lift but below the limit, till we got to the triangle (which ATC had OKd us to 4000 ). Also as usual, when we got there we were scratching in the weakest of thermal to stay up at all, but finally got up to 4000. It was all fairly shady with the only sunny patches near the A7 so a cross wind to get there, and another weak climb to run along the A7 and down beside Stow.
The X 95 arrived in perfect time to run us back to the road end, and Ian K ran us up the last bit (Thanks Ian ).
